East Green The 2008 launch of East Green, the UK’s first carbon neutral beer, generated the largest number of articles ever in Adnams’ history. Westgate was tasked with securing coverage in the consumer media which communicated the beer’s green credentials and excellent quality and taste. The launch achieved unprecedented media coverage, valued in excess of £1million. This included articles in the national press (The Independent, The Sun, Daily Mirror), online media (www.msn.com, www.news.sky.com, www.hippyshopper.com) and consumer glossies (Fresh, Shortlist, Spirit & Destiny, Men’s Health).
