Creative video with 'cut through'

Cutting edge saw

We have a broad range of communication and marketing skills from branding and web design to PR and digital marketing, all requiring a wide range of marketing assets such as video, interactive PDFs, infographics, brochues etc. Interestingly there is a real appetite for video at the moment – in the past 18 months we have created 133 videos! So what's causing this sudden popularity?

Video is a great way to tell a story in a succinct and engaging way. We are all suffering from information overload and the challenge for the marketeer is to serve up information that engages with a wide audience in a memorable way.

Here are some key factors that will ensure your video has cut through, communicates with your audience and hopefully even goes viral.

Invariably the main challenge is telling your story in a succinct way. Your aim is to articulate how you add value to your customer or client as creatively as possible. Many businesses and organisations have a diverse range of goods and services and the inclination is to feature them all in one video to tell the whole story. The result is usually something very detailed and rather boring. The key is to find the absolute essence of how an organisation adds value and convey this with originality.

But to create impact, engage with your audience and excite them enough to share your video what you need is an original, creative idea that has a unique personality.

This requires a creative team that truly understands how to distill a broad range of key messages into a single creative theme or idea that tells your brand story with personality and style. Here are a couple of examples that do just that:
